The Tigers - Cheshire United (3-3)

The Tigers scheduled training were changed to a match due to the goodwill of the field operator at Bradell Westlake Secondary School.

We were up against Cheshire United. Almost half of the Tigers are playing for the first time for them. The field was soggy and play was not as smooth as both teams would have liked.

The teams were evenly matched. Cheshire United gifted the Tigers their first goal when their goalie totally missed a return pass when Farhan pressured one of their defenders. The teams then exchanged attack with United attacking mainly on the right flanks. The Tigers did their play of passing on the soggy ground and that proves to be the team's own undoing. The defence was inorganized as United scored from crosses and unmarked men. United rush off to a 3-1 lead.

The Tigers managed to stage a comeback of their own. Faroz scoring a beautiful free kick from just outside the box. In the last minutes of the game, Rahman scored from nearly the halfway line. United's keeper was not able to handle the slippery ball and it went in.

Great comeback, Tigers! Still, we haven't play the way we would have liked to play. You guys know what I mean. We'll terrorize!

For the new players, welcome to our team and please attend training!

Players: Philip, Farhan, Apai, Faizal, Oswin, Adam, Adi, Boy, Hashim, Lan, Chris, Hamza, Rahman, Faroz,

Post Mortem

  1. Defence will have to be much more organized.
  2. Midfielders would need to know more of how their strikers operate.
  3. Take more shots at goal.
  4. Training have to be done as a team so that we will know each other better.
  5. Mulyadi to lose more weight to be more mobile. :p
  6. Don't sell yourself to your opponents.
  7. Hope that the players which played in this match will be regulars at training as well.

Warmest Regards
Mulyadi
